We are behind enemy lines. We have infiltrated the enemy’s camp, and he is furious.      We are an outpost of light on a campus so secular, that the powers of darkness never thought it would lose its grip. We are taking ground, we are changing lives, and we will not relent! We are equipping a fresh generation to fight for the cause of Christ! Be sure to watch the video below to see what this ministry means in the lives of the students we are reaching.

Since I joined your group, I now pray to God every single day, when I wake up in the morning, and when I go to bed… I am the happiest man because I could meet you guys, Junjun testified at his last service before returning home. His friend Takuto share at our prayer meeting that “he no longer feels afraid and now feels supported by something, and feels that he can now do anything.” He later went on to say that he had already found the Chi Alpha chapter back in Japan and planned on getting involved when he returned home.

“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” -Romans 15:13 NKJV

Both of these testimonies were from Japanese students that I had the opportunity to lead to Christ this quarter. I just dropped Junjun off at the airport for his return flight to Japan on FridayHe is now on fire for God and will act as a missionary to a culture and country I’ve never been to as he shares the gospel with his friends, family, and classmates!

Japan is one of the hardest countries to reach for the Gospel and remains one of the most secular nations in the world according to World Values Survey.  It is a place so lost and void of the love of Christ that when these students finally experience Jesus, they cannot help but to share the joy that comes with salvation. Because of this, they have been inviting their friends and we had almost 10 Japanese at one of our services.

We have momentum impacting the nations, with over 140 people crowding into our auditorium for the Chinese New Year celebration we hosted last month. Students from around the world gathered for authentic Chinese food, games, and the opportunity to build authentic relationships with Americans. We were also able to use this as an avenue to invite students to our international Bible study and weekly church service.

Every service has been extremely anointed. Prophetic Evangelist Sean Smith preached the word of God powerfully earlier this quarter at our two day revival service in the center of campus. Though Sean speaks around the world, he makes time to share at our services because he recognizes the powerful move of God that is coming to this campus.

We have been experiencing students coming to faith in Jesus Christ, being delivered from demonic oppression, and receiving physical healing in their bodies. These experiences only intensify when Sean comes. This has been a great witness to the Japanese students because they were able to experience the power of God first hand.  That two-day revival service was record breaking for our ministry at UCLA. We finally broke over 100 in attendance and the momentum has continued with us breaking 100 again this last Tuesday. The student president of Chi Alpha shared that our smallest service in 2013 was our largest service of the fall quarter.

I’m only expecting greater things to be done on this campus as me and others boldly take ground by sharing the gospel, praying for others, and inviting students to get involved. Thank you for your prayers and financial support. We cannot maintain this momentum without the financial support of the body of Christ. If you do not yet support this movement, I encourage you to start today by clicking HERE.
